Quotable Tuesday

I’m on vacation visiting my beautiful sister and her beautiful daughter. Here’s a quote I stumbled across in a book called, “The Artistic Mother” by Shona Cole.

“A musician must make music, an artist must paint,  a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What one can be, one must be.”

– Abraham Maslow

What must you do? What must you be?

  1. Hello, Fellow SheWriter here. It’s sometimes difficult when you start out your blog. Your intentions are so honorable, you want the world to share in your writing journal, to see what a great writer you are. How dedicated you are to the craft…then reality smacks you upside the head. It’s yet another task, out of the endless number of tasks that are already vying for your attention.

Alas, don’t fret. We’ve all been there***Well, I have.*** I try to stay organized but I’ve missed days to post and have actually had to go back days later and delete some of my posts ***gasp*** I can’t post everyday like some bloggers but I’m not in a competition so, who cares what they do.

You’ll find the level of posting thats comfortable for you. Oh, and I absolutely love your last Tuesday quote. You are a Writer, you must write!

    • Yes, you are right… my intentions are always honorable but then that darn reality comes along strutting her stuff… sigh…
